One of the many highlights of a trip to Portugal is the amazing array of fresh food which it is possible to enjoy at such reasonable prices.

Carvoeiro is renowned for the number and variety of restaurants which it offers – quite literally catering for everybody’s tastes and wallet. From fine dining to take-out – it’s all there.

Regardless of whether you are travelling with a family, or as a couple, or with a group of friends, you are guaranteed to have a variety of places to eat which will please you.

Of course, being on the Algarve, fish and seafood form an important part of many menus.  But do not be deterred if fish is not to your liking – most restaurants offer a good selection of meat also.  Chicken cooked in the traditional piri piri sauce is a particular favourite, or how about a juicy steak served sizzling on the hot stone which cooked it?
