Al fresco….

Of course, the fabulous climate is one of the reasons that the Algarve is such a firm favourite with holidaymakers. That is why the living space and facilities outside Casa Octavius are just as important as what’s found inside.

One of the villa’s nicest features is the large, shaded terrace accessed directly through sliding doors from the living room – effectively making it another living space.  Well furnished with tables and chairs, this is where you may well spend most of your holiday down-time, overlooking the azure pool.

A cool and restful setting for breakfast, the ideal spot for a noisy family lunch with children dripping from the pool, or gently lit for a relaxing evening meal, with the reassuring sweep of the lighthouse lamp adding to the romantic holiday mood.

For the younger guests, the 15m pool (which can be heated if required and also has a safety cover), is often the focal point of their holiday, and they are usually happy to know that they share the pool with dolphins, crocodiles, turtles – and lots of other inflatable toys and swimming aids which are supplied!

With a generous supply of loungers, cushions, umbrellas, large fluffy towels, a convenient outside loo & shower, and even a strategically placed tree for shade, we hope that poolside time will be a pleasure for all members of your party.
